The pricing discrepancies between products within the directories are virtually non-existent. WorldWide Brands list many of the same suppliers so you can count on finding very similar pricing on items. However, WorldWide Brands does offer a much more extensive directory of suppliers and products by giving you access to more than 8.2 million wholesale products. SaleHoo lacks severely in this category by coming in with just over 1.6 million products.
We were pleased to find that both services offered incredible customer support. They each have their own 800 numbers where you can chat with REAL people and you can also reach them online. Another feature we really enjoy in both directories is the members forum. We are firm believers that, in this industry, the crowd that is the most willing to help and helpful overall is that of your peers.
This was one of our more difficult decisions to make but in the end we chose WorldWide Brands as the winner here. They have much more to offer as far as products and suppliers go and also with their market research tools. We also found that their supplier database is much more organized and easier to browse than SaleHoo's.
One of our most important factors was the cost of each directory. SaleHoo used to charge just $67 for lifetime access. Now they are charging $67 per year for their services. You can get lifetime access to WorldWide Brands for just $269 by using our discount link for our readers only. We have been grandfathered in by SaleHoo and have lifetime access for our original $67 investment. However, if we had been charged $67 for each year we used the directory we would have spent $335 so far!
